In Math, we started learning about adding fractions. In Social Studies, we learned about inventions and started researching them. In Science, we watched a Bill Nye the Science Guy video. Throughout the whole week, we learned about Paul Revere, adding fractions, and inventions. In Science, everyday was something new. We also had a 2 hour delay from Thursday for snow. That was our school week. What was yours like?
This week we did many fun things. We learned how to select resources to find information - such as an almanac, encyclopedia, and all that stuff. We analyzed an article about school uniforms, and we learned more about bias.

In Math this week, we did a fraction problem project and after we finished that we did some tests on Study Island. This week in Social Studies, we learned a ton about the Civil War. In Science, we learned about what would happen to 7 mystery liquids and what they would react to.
This week in Science we learned how to make a hypothesis. In Reading, we are working on a turbine debate. Also, in Writing, we are talking about service animals and the law. Last, in Math, we are doing a math project and just being creative.
This short week we learned about fractions in Math and in Reading we did a text structures Study Island test. In Social Studies, we did a little packet about Abe Lincoln and after that we did a word search. Then, in Science, we did experiments with Gobstoppers. HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING!!!

In Math class, we did a warm-up and also we did a test on units just like we had to do LxWxH=V, which means length times width times height and the v stands for volume.
This week was amazing, awesome, and enjoyable at the same time. In math, we learned about volume and how to solve it. In reading, we learned how to compare and contrast. In writing, we learned how to use transition words. In science, we learned about fish and snails.
